KANO (Kano,North West Nigeria)  –  A Director of Finance at the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin, Dr. Musa Illiyasu Kwankwaso, on Friday labelled the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, NNPP’s 2023 presidential candidate Rabiu Kwankwaso, and former Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El-Rufai as self centred politicians with no vision for Nigeria future.
Addressing newsmen in Kano, Dr. Kwankwaso alleged that “Kwankwaso is only interested in enriching himself and has a history of hiding behind the success of others to remain relevant.”
Dr. Kwankwaso also questioned Atiku’s commitment to good governance, citing his association with politicians who supported President Buhari’s administration.
He noted that both Atiku and Kwankwaso lack a strong party platform, with the PDP embroiled in crises and the NNPP facing internal conflicts.
Regarding El-Rufai, Dr. Kwankwaso dismissed him as a “wanderer” who jumps from one party to another without achieving anything meaningful. He expressed skepticism about El-Rufai’s decision to join the SDP, questioning the party’s viability.
Dr. Kwankwaso therefore advised Atiku and his coalition to allow President Tinubu to focus on addressing Nigeria’s challenges.
He expressed support for the president’s efforts and praised the state of emergency declared in Rivers State as a necessary measure to save democracy.
