Rurum Built 100km Roads, 40 Classrooms, Hospitals In Constituency

Rurum Built 100km Roads, 40 Classrooms, Hospitals In Constituency

KANO  –  The Chairman, House Committee on Airforce, Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, on Wednesday said over 100 kilometers of roads has been built across his constituency in line with an ambitious development drive.
Similarly, healthcare facilities, ICT centres, blocks of across classrooms have been constructed across the three local government areas of the constituency.

who conducted Reporters round some of the constituency projects, explained  that the road construction projects cover Rano, Bunkure, and Kibiya towns.
Rurum revealed that notable projects including the construction of five township roads in Rurum, the road from Kibiya to Narita in Kibiya local government, and the road from NITEL to Kufa foda Dawaki ward in Rano local government.
He said, “In addition to the road projects, Hon. Rurum disclosed that over 40 classrooms were built across the three local government areas. The classrooms are distributed across various wards, including Chitin, Gaffau, Gurgiya, Kumuya, Gwanci, and Gwamna in Bunkure LG.
Furthermore, Hon. Rurum revealed that an ICT hall equipped with 150 computers was established at Rano LG, while a primary health centre was built at Rurum’ town. Solar-powered boreholes were also provided in several communities, including Tartai, Tavunga, Buran, Rinji, Janganu, Ruwan-Kuka, and Gaka-Lafiya all in Bunkure LG.
Hon. Rurum emphasized that the provision of primary healthcare centres in Unggai Bunkure, Rano GRA, Kibiya town, Rurum’ town, and Tashai Idi Rurum’ was aimed at ensuring that his constituents have access to quality healthcare services.
The lawmaker stated that he embarked on these projects to ensure that his constituents enjoy the dividends of democracy, adding that he remains committed to delivering more development projects in the future.
