Kano Standstill For APC Chairman’s Offspring Wedding, As VP, Barau Play Key Roles

KANO (Kano, North West Nigeria) – The ancient city of Kano ground to a halt on Saturday, as a multitude of Nigeria’s elite, including politicians, technocrats, industrialists, and artisans, converged in large numbers to attend the wedding Fatiha of the children of APC Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas.
Vice President Kashim Shettima and Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin played prominent roles at the wedding Fatiha which took place at the Alfurqan Jummaat Mosque.
The event was attended by several high-profile dignitaries, including Minister of Agriculture Abubakar Kyari, former Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, and House of Representatives Committee Chairmen Abubakar Kabir Abubakar and Ado Alhassan Doguwa. The ceremony was also graced by numerous other prominent politicians, business leaders, and traditional rulers.
The Alfurqan Jummaat Mosque was filled to capacity as many unidentified dignitaries also graced the occasion. The atmosphere was festive, with guests dressed in their finest attire. The ceremony was a testament to the strong bonds within the APC family and the respect accorded to its leaders.
Abbas Abdullahi Abbas, the son of the APC chairman, tied the knot with Arch Khadija Attahiru Buhari, while his brother, Muhammad Abdullahi Abbas, wedded Zulaihat Nasir.
Both brides received a dowry of N500,000 each. The wedding Fatiha was conducted by Professor Aliyu Omar, the Chief Imam of the Alfurqan Jummaat Mosque.
Vice President Shettima represented the two grooms, Abbas Abdullahi Abbas and Muhammad Abdullahi Abbas, while Senator Jibrin stood in for the two brides, Arch Khadija Attahiru Buhari and Zulaihat Nasir. The presence of these high-ranking officials lent significant weight to the occasion and underscored the importance of the APC chairman’s family.
Abdullahi Abbas, the APC chairman, expressed his gratitude to Vice President Shettima, Senator Jibrin, and others for attending the wedding Fatiha of his sons.
