APC Group Backs Tinubu, Yusuf, Doguwa Ahead of 2027

By Ahmad Tijjani Abdul

KANO —– The All Progressives Congress (APC) pressure Group in Tuduwada Local Government Area has declared its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, House of Representatives member Alhassan Ado Doguwa, and other elected office holders, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The group, known as Tuduwada LGA for The Best, made the declaration during a well-attended stakeholders’ gathering, where it said its decision was driven by the need to promote continuity in governance and sustain ongoing development efforts at both state and national levels.

Speaking at the event, the leader of the group and former commissioner, Nura Dankadai, said the endorsement reflected the collective will of the people, stressing that recent developments in the area and beyond had justified continued support for the current crop of leaders.

Dankadai described President Tinubu’s administration as one working through economic and governance challenges, noting that Nigerians should exercise patience as reforms begin to take shape.

The former Commissioner added that the administration was “on the right path” in addressing long-standing national issues.

On Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the group leader commended what he described as visible progress in Kano State, particularly in infrastructure renewal, youth empowerment, and social development initiatives over the past years.

Turning to Alhassan Ado Doguwa, Dankadai said the federal lawmaker had remained a consistent representative of the people, citing his long years in public service and repeated electoral victories as evidence of strong grassroots acceptance.

He further stated that despite past political disagreements with Doguwa, members of the group had come to recognize his contributions to constituency development, describing him as a “tested and trusted” representative whose performance could not be ignored.

Another stakeholder, Yusuf Musa Janmaje, noted that through Doguwa’s interventions, several youths from the area had gained employment opportunities, including placements in national institutions, while others benefited from educational sponsorship schemes.

Speakers at the event also highlighted the need for increased attention to education, youth development, and rural infrastructure, urging elected officials to expand intervention projects in Tuduwada to further improve living standards.

The group reaffirmed its commitment to mobilizing support for Tinubu, Governor Yusuf, Doguwa, Senator Kawu Sumaila, and other leaders, while also calling on traditional rulers and community stakeholders to sustain peace and unity in the area as preparations toward 2027 gather momentum.
