Sen. Natasha Launches Weekly Call-In Session for Constituents

By Ahmad Tijjani Abdul

KANO ——-  The senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, on Tuesday introduced a weekly phone-in programme aimed at giving constituents direct access to her office.

The initiative, titled “One Minute With Your Senator,” will hold every Saturday between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., according to a public aannouncement published in her verified Facebook page.

Constituents are encouraged to call a dedicated phone line to speak directly with the lawmaker for one minute during the scheduled hour.

Kogi Central is one of the three senatorial districts in Kogi State, and the development is expected to draw attention from constituents eager for greater interaction with their elected representative.

The message, tagged “Let’s Talk, Kogi Central,” presents the programme as an open channel for residents to raise concerns, ask questions and share suggestions.

Although no formal statement accompanied the announcement, the initiative appears designed to strengthen communication between the senator and the people of Kogi Central.

It remains unclear how many callers will be accommodated within the one-hour window, but the programme signals a move toward more accessible representation in the senatorial district.
