KEDCO Alerts Customers of TCN Planned Maintenance Outage

KANO (Kano- North West Nigeria) – The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company Ltd (KEDCO) on Sunday apologize to its customers across Kano, Katsina and Jigawa over power outage in the franchise.
A signed statement by the management that was made available to Reporters in Kano explained that the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) would be conducting maintenance work on the 330kV Kaduna-Kano transmission line.
According to the statement the maintenence work which commenced by 11am, would be completed later in the day by 3pm.
The statement read in parts : “This is to inform our esteemed customers in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa that there will be power cut on 330kv Kaduna-Kano transmission line, to enable our TCN counterparts replace broken disc insulation on tower T30 along line the line .”
“The maintenence work is expected to commence by 11am and completed by 3pm.”
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding. “
