KANO – Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II, on Thursday took time out of his busy schedule to honor his classmates by participating in a photo shoot immediately after lectures at the university.
The Emir, who is currently pursuing a degree at the institution, joined fellow students shortly after classes ended, drawing attention from many on campus who witnessed the rare moment of royal simplicity and academic camaraderie.
Eyewitness says, the photo session was carefully arranged in line with cultural and traditional dictates, ensuring respect for norms observed within the academic and social environment.
He said “As part of the arrangement, male and female students took their photographs separately, a move organizers said was intended to maintain modesty and uphold accepted traditions.”
The Emir was seen interacting freely with his classmates during the exercise, exchanging greetings and posing for photographs without any form of special treatment.
