Ata Sets For Historic Homecoming To Kano Weekend

KANO – All is now set for the historic homecoming of the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata to Kano weekend.
Flyers distributed lavishly in the city by the Organizers who style themselves as Committee of Friends indicated the new bride in Kano politics would storm the city on Saturday.
Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, was recently sworn in as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, replaced the President long term ally, Tijjani Mohammed Gwarzo.
However, the ancient city, is currently adorned with banners, billboards, and posters featuring Rt. Hon. Ata and President Tinubu, amplifying the atmosphere of jubilation.
In Fagge, Ata’s local government area, findings revealed that residents are coming together to ensure the homecoming reflects the rich cultural diversity of Kano.
Speaking on the Yusuf Ata’s homecoming, Hon Seyi Olorunsola said members of various ethnic communities, including Yoruba and Igbo residents, are actively involved in the planning and preparations.
Hon Seyi Olorunsola explained that “Rt. Hon. Ata, a grassroots marvic’s appointment is widely seen as a strategic move by President Tinubu to aligns his administration’s vision to unify the country by empowering trusted figures at the grassroots level.”
Hon. Olorunsola stated that Yusuf Ata is a unifying force in Kano that bridge political divides and creates a renewed sense of collaboration among the state’s diverse communities.”
