Ganduje, Shekarau Accompany Garo to Office

KANO —– Two former Governors of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and Ibrahim Shekarau, on Tuesday made a joint appearance as they accompanied the newly sworn-in Deputy Governor, Murtala Sule Garo, to his office as he officially assumed duty.
The development came barely a 24 hours after Garo was sworn in, marking his first formal day at work in office as Deputy Governor of the state.
The high-profile escort by the two former governors attracted wide political attention across Kano largely seen the city dwellers as a significant show of support.
Finenewsng.com reports that the visit was not ceremonial alone but also a symbolic gesture reflecting unity among key political actors in the state.
The presence of Ganduje and Shekarau, both influential figures in Kano’s political history, has been interpreted by residents as a signal of emerging alignment among senior stakeholders.
