Waiya, 71 Others Set To Join NIPR Prestigious Ranks

KANO- The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has rolled out programs to induct the Kano state Commissioner for Information, Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, and 71 others into its list of members on Thursday.
A statement by the local branch that was made available to Reporters in Kano stated that the inductees have been successfully cleared for the membership of the institute.
The statement by NIPR further stated that “Direct Membership” granted was sequel to their application that sought to join the professional body having satisfied laid down requirements.
The statement read in parts : “This is to bring to the attention of the under-listed staff who applied for NIPR (Nigerian Institute of Public Relations) Direct Membership that they have been successfully cleared for the membership of the institute.”
The NIPR directed that the grand ceremony is compulsory for the new members, stressing that to be “Gown will be provided for each inductee at the venue, and that “All collected gowns are to be returned to the point of collection immediately after the ceremony.”
The professional body further directed “Other applicants whose names are not on this list, are to undergo Master Classes at a later date to be announced”
