Sen. Lado Doles Out Cash Gift To Winners Of Tinubu Mother’s Qur’an Competition

KANO – The Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator Bashir Garba Lado on Friday evening doles out cash gift to no fewer than 30 winners of the recent concluded President Tinubu mother’s Qur’an recitation competition in Kano.
The 30 winners drawn various grades of the competition included 15 males, and 15 females with the first prizes across the respective gender went home with one million naira.
Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, Chairman State Council of Ullamas and the Chairman of the Programs, explained that the competition has greatly impacted on the lives of the young Reciters who were given Houses, Cars, Hajj slots and cash awards.
Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil explained that the competition was done in recognition to the late President Tinubu’s mother who spends her life in service of humanity.
In his speech, Senator Bashir Lado, said that the competition started from wards to local governments and to the State level where 30 young Reciters who memorized Quran were given the gifts and at the final of the competition.
Senato Lado who was represented by one of his Malam Ibrahim explained that at the end of the competition they empowered young Reciters who memorized the Holy Book for them to start new life’s.
Mallam Ibrahim stated that others who didn’t participate in the competition would now ignite their aspirations by next year to engage themselves deeply in the memorization of the Holy Book which would also serve as a mechanism to distract their attentions from social vices and other form of criminalities.
