Jos Hosts PDP Governor’s Meeting On Damagum’s Future

KANO (Kano, North West Nigeria) – Plateau State, Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang is set to host a 2-day Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum summit in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
A signed statement by Mr. Gyang Bere, the Director of Press Affairs to governor that was made available to Finenews Nigeria said the events would kickstart with a dinner at the Banquet Hall, New Government House, Rayfield, Jos, at 6:00 PM on Friday.
Mr. Gyang Bere revealed that “the Governors’ Meeting will take place at the EXCO Chamber, New Government House, Rayfield, Jos, at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2024 under a closed door.”
According to the statement “The meeting is expected to discuss the state of the nation, recent developments in the country, and the role of PDP governors in stabilizing the party.”
It further explained that “The governors will also deliberate on the future of acting National Chairman, Ambassador Umar Ilyas Damagum ahead of the party’s 99th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for Nov. 28.”
