Behind every Gentleman is a story of perseverance, resilience and determination, they persevere through obstacles and challenges but never losing sight of their goals and aspirations.
Until this moment, I was not a strong advocate of the idea for youth political leadership given the complexity of our democratic political culture.
However, with recent political developments, it is becoming increasingly imperative to shine a light on certain individuals who tirelessly dedicate their time and efforts to serve their community.
Through his engagement in active politics, AUWALU SANKARA, has made significant impact in bringing positive changes in the lives of the people he serves. Though, he joined politics at a rather younger age, his public service embodies loyalty, trust, dedication and generous spirits of philanthropy.
The massive youth empowerment initiative of about 2000000 launched at the citizens engagement programme in Ringim is a testament to his ingenious leadership qualities. As the Commissioner for special duties, and Humanitarian Affairs, AUWALU deligently forstered a good relationship between government and the citizens, resulting in a stronger unity among the states citezinery.
One of his outstanding qualities is his steady stewardship, transparency, open dialogue and readiness to listen to all which gave him an edge over his contemporaries.
His recent remittance of over N300000000 to the state Treasury an excess amount from the approved Ramadan feeding program is a clear testament to his outstanding honesty in a government that prioritised probity and transparency.
He has been actively involved in various charitable ventures especially in the area of education, health care and youth employment, a gesture that translates in the massive youth support he enjoys from across the entire senatorial zone.
The likes of AUWALU SANKARA is indeed a rare gem in the youth political groups that needs to be explored, nurtured, and supported for future polical leadership that guarantees a reliable and sustainability development.
