Farm Centre Tragedy : More Hope for Marketers, As Barau Donates N200m, 1,000 Solar Power, Others

Farm Centre marketers were seen in jubilation mood today, Sunday, courtesy Distinguished Barau Jibrin’s visit to sympathize with them over the recent fire outbreak causing lost of properties worth millions of Naira.
Without wasting time and energy, the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, CFR, donates properties (phones and accessories), among others, worth Two Hundred Million Naira (N200m) to the affected marketers at Farm Centre GSM Market, Tarauni, Kano.
During his visit to sympathize with the victims, he talked to the marketers with sympathetic face urging them to leave everything in the Hands of The Almighty Allah.
Assuring that, “As our dear state is known for businesses, it is duty bound on us to always support our enduring youth to be fully integrated into our economy.”
“I have spoken with the leaders of this market, that we would work together to see what was lost. I’m assuring you that, my office will provide properties lost to the tune of Two Hundred Million Naira (N200m),” he reveals.
After disclosing this information, he agreed to support the security system in and around the market with 1,000 solar powered light, adding that,”… Security is for all of us. We need to work tirelessly to promote our security around our markets.”
Disclosing further that, the work on the solar power would start from next week.
While maintaining the call for tighter security around the market, he promised to also provide the security team of the market with Hilux vehicle for good and effective patrol system around the market.
In order to do away with the ever-existing road traffic on Zaria road when Farm Centre is closed, on daily basis, Jibrin promised to provide overhead bridge, crossing Zaria road from the market exit point.
His many interventions before this, show how concerned and committed is the Senator when it comes to serving his people. He doesn’t care to even say, the market is not located in his constituency, Kano North.
He believes, since it is in Kano, and Nigeria, by extension, he sees it as part of his responsibility to come forth and give his helping hand. Barau means well for the state and the country in general.
He provides before any other individual or agency. Which at the same time, gives insight into his commitment for human and capital development. Only responsible leaders and representatives show this kindness and responsible leadership.
