APC Unveils Alfindiki, Gogori, Others For Council Poll In Kano.

KANO – The immediate past Chairman of the Kano municipal Council, Faizu Alfindiki was named by the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kano Chapter as a candidate for the forthcoming local government election due by October 26th.
The list of the 44 APC candidates that scaled through the party primary were mainly the immediate past chairmen of their respective council in the state.
The APC list that was made public on Monday put to rest speculations on the preparedness of the opposition party to participate in the impending election.
Faizu Alfindiki who spoke to newsmen shortly after the list was made public said “APC is confident of winning the poll.”
The influential former Council boss explained that “Power belongs to Almighty Allah, and He gives it to any of his slave He is pleased with as a trial.”
He stated that APC as opposition would spring surprises against what he described as “NNPP low public image in Kano state”
The Kano municipal boss said “I want to assure you that APC is going into the poll to win, we have oil our machines and ready to pull the rug off the feet of NNPP despite being in power”.
He enjoined supporters to intensify their campaign around the nooks and crannies to return APC to power at third tier government ahead of 2027 General elections.
