Litany of Politically Motivated Legal Witch-Hunts Won’t Reduce Ganduje to Kwankwaso’s Level – Alfindiki

KANO – Former Chairman, Kano Municipal Council, and All Progressives Congress stalwart, Comrade Faizu Alfindiki, on Friday declared that the alleged litany of politically motivated legal witch-hunts won’t reduce Ganduje to Kwankwaso’s level.
Alfindiki, a Gandujiyya die-hard in a strongly worded press statement that was made available to Reporters in Kano, expressed worries that “Gov. Yusuf’s administration growing obsession with Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, a highly successful leader in Kano’s recent history.”
The senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker House of Representatives, stressed that “the current administration in our dear state has made it an official policy not only to deconstruct a nationally recognized political enigma but also to spend taxpayers’ money distorting the history of this former two-term governor and the former National Chairman of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress.”
The tough talking Alfindiki in the signed statement said “Interestingly, we’ve witnessed sustained, politically motivated legal witch-hunts that have yet to undermine Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s political status in the polity, all at the expense of resources that could have been utilized for development projects.”
The statement reads in part : “I want to make it clearer that the political landscape of Nigeria will continue to witness the meteoric rise of His Excellency, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, despite the egregious envy of your local champion, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.”
“I would also like to place it on record that Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s towering political height, which eclipses Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s, is a result of his impeccable leadership and vision for Nigeria. His track record speaks for itself, and the people have seen the dividends of his governance, which perhaps explains why someone like Kwankwaso, who is still struggling to come to terms with his own political trajectory, seems to be going nowhere.”
“The people of Nigeria are not oblivious to the machinations of Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration, which seeks to use the system to its advantage. They see through the façade of political persecution and recognize it for what it is – a desperate attempt to blackmail a revered national figure.”
The former Chairman, Kano Municipal said, “For record, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s political legacy is built on the foundation of hard work, dedication, and a deep understanding of the needs of the people. He has consistently demonstrated his ability to transcend ethnic and religious divides, earning him the respect and admiration of millions of Nigerians. Those who seek to undermine him are merely trying to hold back a force of nature.”
He warned that “It is therefore laughable that the current occupant of the Kano Government House would think that they can use the instrument of the judiciary to witch-hunt Dr. Ganduje. The courts have consistently shown their independence and commitment to upholding the rule of law. Any attempt to manipulate the system for political vendetta will be met with the stiff resistance of the Nigerian people.”
