Ohinoyi Lauds Ododo’s Performance, Seeks Prayers for Kogi Government

KANO — The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Ahmed Tijani Mohammed Anaje, has commended the performance of Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, urging citizens to continue praying for the success of his administration.

The royal father made the remarks during a stopover at the Ebira Community House in Kano on his return from Jigawa State, where he attended a meeting of Northern Traditional Rulers in Dutse, Jigawa state.

Addressing a cross section of the community, Anaje briefed them on developments in Kogi State and expressed satisfaction with the efforts of the Ododo administration.

A statement signed by Mohammed Dauda Adano on behalf of the office of Odeyani Anebira in Kano that was made available to newsmen quoted the first Class monarch to have enjoined Kogite around the globe to include Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododoin in their prayers to enable him do more for the state.

The monarch also commended the Ebira community in Kano for constructing the community house, describing the facility as a worthy legacy that would benefit Ebiraland as a whole.

“The community has taken a commendable step by erecting such a magnificent edifice for the benefit of Ebiraland,” the royal father was quoted as saying, while offering prayers for those who contributed to the project.

Anaje further acknowledged the contribution of Abdullahi Mustapha, the Director General Energy Commission of Nigeria for fulfilling his pledge to provide electricity to the facility.

According to the monarch, the gesture demonstrated commitment to community development and deserved formal recognition.

He pledged that the Office of the Ohinoyi would issue an official letter of commendation to Dr. Mustapha, noting that “such generosity deserves more than verbal appreciation.”
