Ganduje Hosts Yusuf’s Spokesperson, APC Leaders in Abuja

KANO – Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, over the weekend hosted the spokesperson to the Kano State Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, alongside other APC leaders at his residence in Abuja.
A statement issued by Mohammed Garba, Chief of Staff to former Governor of Kano State, said the visit also included the Chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, Hon. Anas Mukhtar Bello Dan Maliki, and formed part of ongoing consultations with key party stakeholders from Kano State.
Garba explained that the meeting was aimed at strengthening unity within the APC and fostering closer cooperation among party leaders, particularly in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area.
He noted that Dawakin Tofa occupies a strategic position within the political landscape of Kano State, being the hometown of Dr. Ganduje and a critical base of support for the APC.
The statement said discussions during the meeting focused on governance, local government development, and the need to sustain peace and stability for the benefit of the people of the area.
It added that the participants also reviewed prevailing political developments and examined ways to better align party activities with effective administration and service delivery.
According to Garba, the engagement underscored the importance of experienced leadership, party loyalty, and collective responsibility in maintaining the APC’s relevance and strength in Kano State.
He further stated that the meeting highlighted Dr. Ganduje’s continued role as a senior party leader and statesman, providing guidance and strategic direction to party members at both the state and local levels.
Garba stated that the visit ended with renewed commitments by the stakeholders to collaboration and strategic planning, expressing optimism that the consultations would contribute to sustained political stability and meaningful development in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area and Kano State as a whole.
