Appropriation Committee Chair Inspects Major Development Projects in Bichi

KANO – The Chairman House Committee on Appropriation, Abubakar Kabiru Abubakar Bichi,
on Monday conducted an early-morning inspection of key development projects across Bichi Local Government Area, reaffirming his commitment to effective oversight and quality service delivery.
The inspection tour took place between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., as the lawmaker moved round several project sites to personally assess the level of work done and ensure adherence to approved standards and timelines.
Finenewsng.com reports that one of the major projects inspected was the ongoing construction of 2,000 housing units aimed at addressing housing deficits and improving the living conditions of residents in the area.
The lawmaker also visited Hagagawa Primary School, where he reviewed infrastructural improvements targeted at creating a better learning environment for pupils.
Another key stop was the Modern Skill Acquisition Center, a project designed to equip youths and women with practical and vocational skills for self-reliance and economic empowerment.
The inspection further extended to the Mini Stadium project, which is expected to promote sports development, youth engagement, and community recreation within Bichi Local Government Area.
In addition, Hon. Bichi assessed the E-Library project, a digital initiative intended to expand access to educational and research resources for students and the general public.
