KANO – The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State wishes to reaffirm its unwavering loyalty to the former party’s national leader and former Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, describing him as a “red line that cannot be crossed” under any circumstance.
Speaking during a strategic engagement with party stakeholders and supporters in Kano, APC chieftain Faizu Alfindiki declared that Ganduje remains the pillar of stability, unity, and continuity within the party both in the state and at the national level.
Alfindiki noted that those attempting to undermine Ganduje’s influence are, in reality, attempting to weaken the foundations of the APC in Kano. He stressed that the former governor has invested decades of political experience, administrative capacity, and personal sacrifice to build and sustain the party’s structure.
“Dr. Ganduje is not just a political leader, he is the backbone of the APC in Kano. Anyone seeking to disrespect him is seeking to disrupt the entire party. He is a red line, and we will not allow anyone to cross it,” Alfindiki stated.
He described the recent attempts to malign Ganduje as politically motivated distractions aimed at causing internal division. According to him, the APC in Kano will remain united, disciplined, and focused despite the actions of a few individuals who thrive on chaos.
Alfindiki urged supporters across all 44 local government areas to stay committed to strengthening the party from the grassroots, adding that the APC’s ability to win future elections depends on unity, coordinated mobilization, and respect for established leadership.
He emphasized that Ganduje’s contributions from consolidating party structures to fostering strong alliances, remain unmatched, and the party will continue to defend his legacy without hesitation.
The statement also reassured members that the APC leadership in Kano is fully aligned with the national leadership and will continue to act in the best interest of the party and its teeming supporters.
