Alfindiki Praises FG’s Choice as Abbas Emerges Quarantine Board Chairman

KANO (Kano,North West Nigeria) – The prominent political figure, Comrade Faizu Alfindiki, has lauded the Federal Government for its decision to appoint Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas as the new Chairman of the National Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS) Board.
Alfindiki made this statement on Tuesday, shortly after Abbas’s official inauguration into the new role.
He described the appointment as “a well-deserved and timely choice”, stating that it reflects the government’s commitment to promoting capable leadership across essential national institutions.
“Abdullahi Abbas is a proven and trusted leader who has demonstrated exceptional skills in various leadership roles. His appointment to head NAQS is not only commendable, but a critical step forward for Nigeria’s agricultural development and regulatory practices,” Alfindiki remarked.
He further expressed optimism that Abbas will bring innovation, discipline, and effective leadership to the board. Alfindiki also urged stakeholders to fully support the new chairman in fulfilling the agency’s mandate.
The National Agricultural Quarantine Service plays a crucial role in protecting Nigeria’s agricultural economy by regulating the movement of agricultural products, preventing the spread of pests and diseases, and ensuring compliance with international trade standards.
Alfindiki concluded his statement by offering his best wishes to Abbas for a successful tenure, encouraging him to lead with integrity and prioritize the nation’s interests.
