By Editor

ABUJA -Justice Maryann Anenih of the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Maitama, Abuja, on Wednesday, fixed December 10, for ruling on the bail application filed by the former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello.

Bello, alongside two others, Shuaibu Oricha and Abdulsalami Hudu, are being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crones Commission over allegations of criminal breach of trust and conspiracy to commit an offence totalling N110.4 billion.

The Judge slated the date after prosecution and defence counsel had argued their bail application.

The former Governor was arraigned on fresh 16-count charges brought against him by the EFCC.

Meanwhile, the court ordered that Yahaya Bello be remanded in the EFCC.
